Blanc et Noir

Music in its full splendor

The duo “Blanc et Noir”, made up of Yudum Cetiner and Selin Sekeranber, is the living proof that a mix of black and white does not necessarily result in a bland gray: Characteristic for the two pianists is their extraordinary and original style, which is characterized by a symbiosis of traditional Turkish music in combination with Western classical music within their own artistic perspective.

They began their voyage of discovery into the world of piano literature for four hands in addition to their solo careers. Blanc et Noir has been accompanied by the renowned piano duo Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl in Stuttgart State Conservatory in Germany.

In the following years the two artists were invited to participate in numerous concerts and festivals in Italy, Germany, Croatia, Egypt, United States, Turkey, France, Switzerland, Spain, Austuria, Estonia.

Their rearrangement of Fazıl Say’s “Black Earth (Kara Toprak)” for two pianos was published by the renowned German music publisher Schott Music.

Their albums; The Essence of Piano Duo, Hands, and Outside are  available on all digital platforms.
